James Rodgers joined Alyeska as its Chief of Staff in December 2024, bringing experience as an accomplished executive.

He was most recently the Chief Operations and Financial Officer of a Private Holding Company in Houston, Texas, managing a portfolio of global and domestic entities with diverse service and product offerings across oil and gas industries. Prior to that, James was Vice President of Encore Wellhead Systems, a provider of oilfield wellhead and pressure control equipment and associated services in the upstream and completions sector. James started his career as a Midstream operator in the field while completing his Industrial Distribution degree from the College of Engineering at Texas A&M.

James combines a people-first focus with a strategic playbook that transforms companies to become as efficient, effective, and successful as possible, a valuable skillset for his role as Alyeska’s Chief of Staff.
