TAPS Tales: Betsy Haines
From summer intern to Senior Vice President, working at a desk, spending hitches in the field, and taking a seat in the executive conference room, Betsy Haines had one of the most unique careers at Alyeska and on TAPS. Before her recent retirement, Betsy shared how her 30-year work journey in many ways mirrored that of Alyeska’s over that same span: one of opportunity and growth, adventure and adversity, optimism and lessons learned. And through it all, a constant commitment to growing and supporting a culture of safety, protecting the special environment along the TAPS route, improving diversity and inclusion, and taking care of our neighbors and communities, and one another.
