Alyeska AFN spotlight: Forest Masters
Each year at the Alaska Federation of Natives, Alyeska and its Alaska Native Program (ANP) leadership provide an update on Alyeska’s Section 29 commitments by spotlighting Alaska Native employees with special video features. This year, we featured Alyeska’s Security Systems Administrator Forest Masters, who blends her background in cybersecurity with the physical aspects of protecting TAPS and the people working on it. Forest is among the many ANUA success stories on TAPS and even in her family, fueled by investments made by Alyeska and ANP, including scholarships, internships and other opportunities to thrive in careers that are technical and professional, and offer a path to leadership roles. Forest brings new perspectives and a passion for learning and technology to a Security team that spans all 800 miles of TAPS and beyond. She is also inspired by other Alaska Native employees and often partners with them in her daily work. And she’s viewed as the next generation of leaders at Alyeska. #TAPSPride
