Alyeska submits application for Trans Alaska Pipeline System Right-of-Way renewal
Alyeska Pipeline Service Company has submitted an application to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and to the Alaska Department of Natural Resources to renew the Right-of-Way for the Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) for a period of 30 years. The renewal supports continued operation of the existing pipeline system that has safely transported Alaska oil for nearly 50 years and is ready for the next 50. Alyeska is following established federal and state processes for ROW renewal and environmental review, which includes an opportunity for public comment and input on the renewal of the TAPS ROW.
